SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines – At least eight towns and a city in Nueva Ecija and five towns in Aurora province will experience up to 10 hours of power interruption today.
To be affected by the blackout from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. are the towns of Talavera, Natividad, Llanera, Palayan City, Bongabon, Gabaldon, Laur, Rizal and portions of Sto. Domingo in Nueva Ecija and Dingalan, San Luis, Maria Aurora, Baler and Dipaculao in Aurora, Ernest Lorenz Vidal of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said yesterday.
The towns of San Isidro, Gapan, San Antonio, Jaen and Caibao in Nueva Ecija will experience a five-hour blackout.
The power interruption will pave the way for the annual preventive maintenance of a power transformer at the Cabanatuan substation and maintenance works along the Cabanatuan-Baler 69 kiloVolt line.
