Ding Cervantes - The Philippine Star

ANGELES CITY, Philippines – After six years in hiding, a suspect in a murder case in Capas, Tarlac surrendered over the weekend after the police assured him of his safety.

Allan Dizon Manayan surrendered after he was told that his two co-accused had been arrested and were unharmed, according to Senior Police Officer 4 Elmo Ngangac, chief of the Tarlac police tracking team.

Ngangac said Manayan and four others, including brothers Mariano and Marvin Quijano, were ordered arrested for the murder of a certain Ernie Galang in 2009 in Barangay O’Donnel in Capas.

The Quijano brothers were arrested in July. Mariano was collared in Gen. Tinio and Marvin in San Jose City, both in Nueva Ecija.

Ngangac said Manayan was accompanied by his sister Abelina Bautista when he surrendered to the police.
