Woman, pa killed at home
MANILA, Philippines - A 30-year-old call center agent and her father were found dead with several stab wounds at their home in Binangonan, Rizal on Saturday.
The throats of Menchu Fulgencio, and her father, Feliciano, 58, were slashed by their assailant, whom police believe was known to the victims.
Rizal police director Senior Superintendent Bernabe Balba said Menchu’s hands were bound and she was naked from the waist down.
Investigators have yet to determine if she was raped.
Balba said investigators found no sign of forced entry at the victims’ residence in St. Monique Subdivision in Barangay Darangan.
The victims were found by Menchu’s brother, Regie, 20, who went to market with his mother and arrived home at around 4:20 p.m., according to Chief Inspector Bartolome Marigondon, town police chief.
“The front door was locked so I destroyed it and I found the bloodied body of my father in the sala,” Regie said, adding he found his sister in bed on the second floor.
