MANILA, Philippines - Two mild earthquakes rocked the provinces of Maguindanao and Davao Oriental yesterday, state seismologists said.
The first quake, measuring magnitude 3.7, occurred at 11:16 a.m. some 36 kilometers northwest of Upi, Maguindanao.
Another quake of the same magnitude occurred at 1:36 p.m. some 92 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso town in Davao Oriental, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Phivolcs said no one was hurt in both quakes.
