MANILA, Philippines – Sixty-eight projects amounting to P20 million have been implemented by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in six municipalities of Sultan Kudarat.
Provincial agrarian reform program officer II Rodolfo Alburo said the projects include solar dryers, multipurpose buildings, school buildings, water systems and post-harvest facilities.
The projects were expected to spur economic development in the municipalities of Columbio, President Quirino, Lambayong, Isulan, Senator Ninoy Aquino and Lutayan.
Alburo said there are 4,739 direct beneficiaries of the projects. Of this number, 3,155 are agrarian reform beneficiaries, 1,328 non-ARBs and 256 indigenous peoples.
