8 bolt Lanao jail

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines – The provincial government has offered a P500,000 reward for information that leads to the capture of eight detainees who bolted from their cell at Lanao del Norte provincial jail in Barangay Pigcarangan in Tubod town.

Amoran Dasimbor, Samsodin Mamao, Musakira Tomanto, Alisaman Santos, Walid Mandagla, Anowar Angni, Caris Lando and Bawi Mapandi reportedly cut the window grills of their cell using a hacksaw blade around 3 a.m. on Thursday.

Jail guards only learned of the escape from one of the detainees.

One of the detainees also recovered a hacksaw blade, which was turned over to responding policemen of the Tubod police station.
