LINGAYEN, Philippines – All 44 municipal police stations in Pangasinan have each received a brand new patrol jeep from the national government.
Senior Superintendent Rolie Saltat, provincial police officer-in-charge, told The STAR that the patrol jeeps would boost police capability in maintaining peace and order.
Saltat said Pangasinan’s four cities – Dagupan, San Carlos, Alaminos and Urdaneta – would also receive their patrol vehicles in another turnover ceremony.
The purchase of the police vehicles was funded under the capability enhancement program of the Philippine National Police.
All Pangasinan police stations have two motorcycles and foot patrol units each to enhance police visibility.
