ANGELES CITY, Philippines – This city will experience a 12-hour power outage on Aug. 31, while areas in Mexico town served by the Angeles Electric Co. (AEC) will have no power for six hours on the same day.
The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) yesterday said the power outage in this city would start from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. while in Mexico from 6 a.m. to noon.
The power shutdown will pave the way for the repair of AEC lines 1 and 2, and replacement of transformer on line 2.
The public was advised to prepare for the power interruption.
