Tarlac’s Top 4 ‘drug dealer’ killed

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines  – A drug pusher, who resisted arrest during a bust, was killed by policemen in Camiling town, Tarlac provincial police chief Senior Superintendent Alex Sintin reported on Friday.

Sintin also said a separate operation in Gerona town led to the arrest of Ulysses Bautista, the town’s alleged top drug peddler. Bautista allegedly admitted to being in the illegal drug trade for 20 years.

In reports reaching Camp Olivas, it appeared that Renato Agustin, 59, sold a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer along Paterno street when the police swooped in. However, instead of surrendering, Agustin fired at the arresting officers who immediately retaliated.

Operatives recovered a caliber .38 revolver with three bullets and nine plastic packs of shabu.

On the arrest in Gerona town, Sintin said the series of apprehensions of top drug personalities led to the successful operation against Bautista.
