Blackouts to hit Tarlac

CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga, Philippines – Several barangays in Capas and Concepcion towns in Tarlac will experience power interruptions lasting up to eight hours tomorrow and on Saturday.

The Tarlac Electric Cooperative II (Tarelco II) yesterday said the 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. blackout tomorrow would pave the way for the correction of rotten cross arms and line clearing in Capas and extension of a primary line in Barangay San Martin in Concepcion.

Tarelco II said the power outage from 8 a.m. till noon on Saturday would allow the replacement of a pole assembly and line clearing in the area.

Barangays Estrada, Siesta, Azaya, Villa Generosa, Bricks, Ben Ong and Amaia in Capas and Barangay Murcia in Concepcion will be affected by the power interruption.
