Raffy Viray - The Philippine Star

MARIVELES, Bataan, Philippines  – A private company operating in the coastal village of Lucanin in this town donated two motorboats to local fishermen to help them improve their livelihood.

The donation was part of the social corporate responsibility of Seafront Shipyard and Port Terminal Services Corp., according to the firm’s vice president Carlo Ignacio.

Local leaders and residents lauded the company for helping improve the quality of life in the town’s coastal communities.

Aside from this, the company donated an office for the fishers group, a new chapel for the community and a school for alternative learning.
