PDEA seizes P700K worth of shabu in CDO

MANILA, Philippines - Authorities arrested a suspected drug pusher in a sting operation in Cagayan de Oro City, seizing illegal drugs worth P700,000, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said. 

Based on the belated report, PDEA identified the suspect as Mark Anthony Izon Roa, 34, of Yacapin-Burgos Streets, Cagayan de Oro City.

Report showed that last Aug.13, around 2:50 p.m., PDEA operatives and local police authorities staged an entrapment operation in the suspect's neighborhood. 

Confiscated from Roa were six plastic cellophanes containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, weighing approximately 300 grams, with an estimated street value of P700,000.

The pieces of drug evidence were brought to PDEA regional office laboratory service for quantitative and qualitative examinations.
