MANILA, Philippines - Maj. Gen. Glorioso Miranda has assumed his post as the new commander of the Northern Luzon Command.
Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin led the turnover ceremony at Camp Aquino in Tarlac on Thursday.
Miranda replaced Lt. Gen. Felicito Virgilio Trinidad, who reached the mandatory retirement age of 56.
