MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude 4.1 earthquake rocked parts of the Mimaropa region yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the quake occurred at 2:13 a.m. with its epicenter traced three kilometers northeast of Abra De Ilog in Occidental Mindoro.
The quake was felt at Intensity 4 in Abra de Ilog, Intensity 3 in Puerto Galera in Oriental Mindoro and Paluan and Mamburao in Occidental Mindoro and Intensity 2 in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro.
No damage or aftershocks were expected from the quake, Phivolcs said.
