BATANGAS, Philippines – Three children aged seven, eight and 10 were found dead at their home in Lipa City yesterday morning.
The victims – Princess Oliveros, 10; her brother Prince Andrae, 7, and their cousin Joyce Ann, 8 – had fractured skulls, according to Superintendent Carlos Barde, city police chief.
Barde said the children, who were found in the bedroom, could have been hit with a hard object.
The victims were found by their uncle, Arthur Cunanan, who brought them breakfast at around 6:30 a.m. at their apartment in Barangay Balintawak.
Investigation showed the children were living with their grandparents, who were out when the attack occurred.
The grandparents reportedly left at around 1:30 a.m. to attend to their store at the Lipa Public Market.
The grandmother said she had berated three male teenagers in the neighborhood. – With Ed Amoroso
