TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A vacationing overseas Filipino worker died after a speeding motorcycle struck her while she was taking a selfie along the highway in Barangay Baloi in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on Wednesday.
Liezle Waga asked the driver of their vehicle to pull over so she could take a selfie at a scenic spot with her family when a motorcycle driven by Peregno Lagudin hit her, Police Officer 2 Nonoy Labrador said.
Waga died while being treated in a hospital where Lagudin, who suffered serious injuries, was also brought.
