Fugitive falls in Pangasinan

MANILA, Philippines - Authorities arrested one of the top wanted fugitives in Quezon City during an operation over weekend, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced on Monday.

QCPD director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said Manny Limjoco, 39, of 13th Avenue, Barangay Socorro, Cubao, was nabbed last March 14 around 12:30 p.m. in front of a drug store along Carmen Avenue in Rosales, Pangasinan.

Pagdilao said Limjoco, is a district level most wanted person in Quezon City. He is a suspected leader of a crime group involved in robbery and the illegal drugs trade.

The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Rosa Samson of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 105 for murder.

Prior to the arrest, police got information that Limjoco was seen in his home province.

The suspect is now detained at the Cubao police station.
