Bebot Sison Jr. - The Philippine Star

SUBIC, Zambales, Philippines  – A tourist, believed to be Korean, was found dead at a beach resort here over the weekend.

The cadaver was decomposing when found by residents in Barangay Cawag, said Chief Inspector Oriano Mina, Subic police chief.

Mina said a foul stench led to the discovery of the body near the Club Morocco, a private beach resort.

Investigators believe the victim could have been dead for more than two weeks.

Probers found an alien certificate of registration issued by the Bureau of Immigration beside the body.

The certificate bore the name of Min Kyoungseo, 59, South Korean, and a resident of Angeles City in Pampanga.
