Jun Elias - The Philippine Star

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union, Philippines – Eighteen motorcycles, believed stolen, were recovered by police officers following a raid in Barangay San Vicente here yesterday.

The motorcycles, which were seized from the house of Enrique Valera, were brought to the Highway Patrol Group 1 at Camp Diego Silang, said Superintendent Julius Suriben, city police chief.

Valera claimed the motorcycles were pawned to him.

The raiding team, however, found out that a motorcycle stolen from a certain Florence Ganaden more than a week ago was among those recovered.
