Bomb blast in Pampanga school leaves 4 wounded
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Four persons were wounded when an improvised bomb exploded in the parking lot of a school in Barangay Sto. Rosario, Angeles City, Tuesday night.
Senior Superintendent Eden Ugale, Angeles City police director, identified the injured as Nolaid Cayanan, 44, a resident of Barangay Manibaug in Porac, Pampanga; Julie Ann Garica, 29, and Maries Sorima, 17, both residents of Barangay Amsic in Angeles City; and Michelle Gadi, 14, of Barangay Paralaya, Porac, Pampanga.
Ugale said a Toyota Vios (TQF-385) owned by Paul Indiongco, 24, of Bagong Bayan Subdivision in Cut-Cut, Angeles City, and Toyota Vios (KEL-727) driven by Ricardo Tan, 23, of Barangay Salapungan, Angeles City were also damaged.
Students said they saw a man in a tricycle that stopped in front of the campus lob a metal ball toward the parking lot.
Ugale said he ordered an investigation into the explosion and the arrest of the suspects.
