2 salvage victims found in Antipolo

Mike Frialde, Non Alquitran - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The bodies of two unidentified men, believed to be victims of summary execution, were found in Barangay Sta. Cruz in Antipolo City Saturday morning.

Both men bore gunshot wounds in the head and had been handcuffed, said Inspector Rhonie Ariola, Police Community Precinct 2 chief.

The first cadaver was found at around 4 a.m. near the driveway of a fastfood restaurant along Sumulong Highway.

The second was found 20 minutes later near the Blue Mountains Subdivision, also along Sumulong Highway.

Ariola expressed belief the killings were related and perpetrated by the same assailants.

He said investigators would review footage of closed-circuit television cameras installed in the fastfood restaurant.
