Zambales lotto winner claims P61-M jackpot

Perseus Echeminada - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A jobless man who won P61 million in the 6/42 Regular Lotto’s Feb. 3 draw has yet to decide how he will spend his winnings, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

The winner, who is from Zambales, claimed the jackpot last Friday at the PCSO central office on Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO acting chairman, said the man kept betting on the six-digit winning combination 05-11-13-22-26-38, which he based on his age and the birthdates of his family members.

The winner said he bet P20 on the winning combination, which he has maintained since the lotto games started in 1995.
