CAMARINES NORTE, Philippines – A village chief was arrested for estafa at his home in Labo, Camarines Norte last Friday.
Jonathan Fruto’s arrest was based on a warrant issued by Naga Judge Efren Santos, said Police Officer 3 Roberto Quilas and PO3 Renzen Dames, who arrested Fruto.
The judge set bail at P40,000.
