Swiss man stabbed dead

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – A Swiss man was stabbed dead in Mabalacat City, Pampanga over the weekend, police reported yesterday.

Roger Fritz Lang, 67, was playing basketball near his home in Barangay Mabiga when a quarrel broke out between him and a certain Bhong Duenas, said Superintendent Noel Torre, city police chief.

Duenas reportedly pulled out a bladed weapon and stabbed the victim, who was declared dead on arrival at the Saint Raphael Foundation and Medical Center in this city.

Duenas fled after the incident.
