2 vendors nabbed for dolphin meat

CAMARINES NORTE, Philippines – Two vendors were arrested for allegedly selling dolphin meat in Libmanan, Camarines Sur Friday.

Jose Franco Dado, 39, and Belinda Abril, 44, allegedly yielded 16 kilos of dolphin meat when they were nabbed in Barangay Mambulo, said case investigator Senior Police Officer 2 Jacinto Parado.

Dado and Abril face charges for violating the Fisheries Code of 1998.
