John Unson - The Philippine Star

KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – Anti-narcotics agents arrested six suspected drug traffickers in Santo Niño town, South Cotabato Friday.

Musid Alamada, Mupac Bacat, Tonga Saniban, Jonathan Anopre, Melvin Baladjay and John Demetillo, surrendered to police officers who raided their hideout in Barangay Ambalgan.

Chief Inspector Joel Fuerte, chief of the Santo Niño police, said village officials helped police officers locate the suspects.

The group is allegedly led by Alamada, said to be the supplier of shabu in Santo Niño and nearby towns in South Cotabato.

Fuerte said the raiding team recovered P400,000 worth of shabu at the suspects’ lair.
