MANILA, Philippines - Mild earthquakes hit parts of the Visayas and Mindanao yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said a magnitude-3.8 quake struck 21 kilometers northeast of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur at 10:46 a.m.
The quake was reportedly felt at Intensity 4 in Talacogon.
A magnitude-3.7 tremor hit Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental at 12:28 p.m. with its epicenter traced at four km northeast of Dumaguete. It was felt at Intensity 3 in Dumaguete City and Sibulan, Negros Oriental.
