Michael Punongbayan - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Those who passed the latest civil service eligibility examinations should aim for excellence and integrity, Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairman Francisco Duque III said yesterday.

“When you do decide to enter government service, I hope that you carry with you utmost commitment to public interest, the highest standards of excellence and integrity and the passion for creating positive change,” Duque said in his message to those who passed the Oct. 26 Career Service Examination-Paper and Pencil Test (CSC-PPT).

Duque said the 19,344 or 11.85 percent of the 163,240 examinees passed the test, of which 16,807 passed the professional level and 2,537 hurdled the sub-professional level.

The complete list of passers can be accessed through the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph.

The CSC said the next CSC-PPT is on May 3, 2015. Applications may be filed at any CSC regional or field office until March 12, 2015.
