Eva Visperas - The Philippine Star

ALAMINOS CITY, Philippines – The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) has turned over the operation and management of the Hundred Islands National Park (HINP)'s water facilities to the city government.

The project will provide potable water to three developed islands – Quezon, Governor and Children – in the HINP.

TIEZA has undertaken the project to enhance the park’s tourism potentials.

The city government will provide water tanks to the three islands for tourists’ use.

Quezon Island has operational water tanks while water lines are being installed on Governor and Children islands.

Mayor Arthur Celeste thanked TIEZA chief operating officer Mark Lapid for the project.

Celeste said it was a dream come true for the city and its residents.
