MANILA, Philippines - A 37-year-old housewife from the province of Cagayan has claimed her share in the jackpot in the 6/55 Grand Lotto’s Oct. 15 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
Conrado Zabella, PCSO assistant general manager for gaming, said the winner picked the six-digit winning combination 01-13-16-19-22-39, which had a total jackpot prize of P30.9 million.
Aside from her, a 66-year-old fruit vendor from Zambales also picked the winning combination and has claimed her share of the jackpot last Friday.
Zabella said the housewife plans to donate 10 percent of her winnings to the church, give a portion to her relatives, build an apartment and save for her child.
He said the vendor plans to use her winnings to pay her debts, buy a farm, expand her business and save some in the bank.
