Ric Sapnu, - The Philippine Star

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Four armed men stormed a rehabilitation center for women and children in Magalang, Pampanga and snatched a 17-year-old patient last Saturday.

Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Recomono Jr., Pampanga police director, said the men entered the Haven Rehabilitation Center in Barangay San Vicente at around 3 a.m. and seized the girl, a resident of Guagua town.

Recomono said the men removed the window grills of the building in order to gain entry, dragged the girl into a waiting vehicle and fled.

A social worker said the girl has a pending drug case.

Magalang police chief Superintendent Ritz Rara ordered a manhunt for the kidnappers.
