Suspect in UE prof's killing nabbed - report

MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested Sunday afternoon one of the two suspects in the killing of a professor of the University of the East , who was stabbed to death inside his house in Bulacan.
Authorities identified the suspect as Jeremiah Zamora, whom police said has been involved in various crimes such as robbery and illegal drugs trade, reports said.
Zamora is being implicated to the killing of Dr. Randy Velayo, who was stabbed 60 times inside his house in Meycauayan town.
Based on initial investigation, the suspects went to Velayo's residence to have a drinking session and videoke.
Police said that Velayo's mobile phone and tablet were missing after the incident.
Zamora is still undergoing questioning by probers for the arrest of his companion.
