CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – A businessman was arrested following a raid on his house that resulted in the seizure of firearms and ammunition in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, Friday.
The raiding team reportedly recovered a caliber .45 pistol with a loaded magazine, a 12-gauge shot gun with four bullets, and a caliber .22 airgun from the house of Josefino Milanes in Barangay Mambangan.
Chief Superintendent Raul Petrasanta, Police Regional Office 3 director, said Milanes failed to show documents for the firearms and bullets.
Petrasanta said the search was done in the presence of village officials.
Milanes was taken to the police provincial office for questioning.
