PNoy approves promotion of 11 senior PNP officials

MANILA, Philippines - President Benigno Aquino III has approved the promotion of 11 senior police officials of the Philippine National Police.
 
The promotions were ordered upon the recommendation of the Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas and PNP chief Police Director General Alan Purisima, based on the evaluation of the Senior Officers Placement and Promotion Board.
 
Roxas is also the concurrent chairman of the National Police Commission.
 
Purisima formally bestowed on Thursday one-star ranks to Chief Superintendent (Brigadier General) Manuel Gaerlan (Executive Officer, Directorate for Personnel and Records Management) and Police Chief Superintendent Efren  Perez (Executive Officer, Directorate for Police Community Relations) in Camp Crame, Quezon City .
 
During the ceremony, the following nine Police Superintendents were also promoted to the rank of Senior Superintendent (Colonel) :
 
Senior Superintendent Celso  Bael – Police Community Relations Group
 
Senior Superintendent Arthur Cabalona – PNP Finance Service
 
Senior Superintendent Cornelio Comila – Police Regional Office 1
 
Senior Superintendent Antonino Cirujales – Police Regional Office 5
 
Senior Superintendent Warren De Leon – Police Regional Office- Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao
 
Senior Superintendent Pablo Labra II – Police Regional Office 7
 
Senior Superintendent Gil Francis Tria – Office of the Deputy PNP Chief for Operations
 
Senior Superintendent Westrimundo Obinque – Police Regional Office 3
 
Senior Superintendent Ferdinand Madrilejo  – PNP Health Service.
