S2 hurt in N. Cotabato blast

NORTH COTABATO, Philippines  – Two men were wounded when a grenade exploded in Aleosan town Monday.

The fatalities were identified as Abu Baida Mamangkog and Jeffrey Nawal, both of Barangay Pagangan.

Town police chief Senior Inspector Nilo Cotones said two motorcycle-riding men pulled over in Sitio Bliss and hurled a grenade at one of the houses.

“Investigators are still trying to identify the suspects and the motive for the attack,” Cotones said.
