Bus conductor killed, 6 hurt in NLEX mishap

MANILA, Philippines - One was killed while six others were injured on Friday after a bus crashed into another bus and a delivery truck along the North Luzon Expressway in Pampanga. 
 
A radio report said that Quelvin Pugal, 40, conductor of Dominion bus, died while being rushed to a hospital.
 
Six passengers of Dominion bus and Victory Liner bus were injured, the report added.
 
Quoting the Apalit police, the report said that Dominion bus driver Hanserick Pamitan steered the vehicle to the left while speeding along NLEX at Barangay Sampaloc, Apalit, Pampanga around 4 a.m., bumping the Victory Liner's rear.
 
The wayward bus also hit a chicken delivery truck, driven by Loreto Atto.
 
Authorities are now looking for Pamitan who had hurriedly left the scene after the accident.
