MANILA, Philippines - Tension gripped an all-boys Catholic school in Quezon City after receiving a bomb threat, Thursday morning.
Police said that Paolo Joseph Blando, principal at Claret School in UP Village, Diliman, received the bomb threat through a text message at 9:42 a.m.
"May bombang nakatago sa inyong paaralan, malaking pagsabog ang mangyayari. Pakiabangan ang mga estudyante," the text message read.
School administrators ordered the suspension of classes for the day as police scoured the campus for any explosive device.
Police, however, found no bombs after carefully scouring the school for almost two hours.
