MANILA, Philippines - A mild tremor was recorded in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato yesterday, state seismologists said.
The tremor occurred at 10:31 a.m. and the epicenter was 20 kilometers southwest of Kidapawan City, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The quake was felt at Intensity 2 in Makilala, North Cotabato, Phivolcs said.
Last Saturday, a magnitude 5 tremor rocked Kidapawan City, damaging at least 74 houses and a chapel. The quake was part of an “earthquake swarm” which hit the province in the past days.
