MANILA, Philippines — Police on Monday filed criminal charges against singer TV host Billy Crawford after going berserk inside a police station in Taguig City.

Taguig police filed malicious mischief and disobedience to persons in authority before the Prosecutors Office against Crawford during the inquest proceedings, reports said.

After the indictment, policemen escorted Crawford back to the Taguig City police where he currently detained.

Jose Aspiras said in a radio interview that the cases against the television personality are bailable and would not cost more than P5,000.

The cases stemmed from a commotion inside a police station in Bonifacio Global City where Crawford reportedly went amuck, kicking the sliding glass panel at dawn on Sunday.

Crawford, who was then accompanied by a woman, was looking for a detention cell and made a scene when police officers told him that there was no such holding facility in the station.

The former international star even reportedly had a scuffle with police officers who were arresting him.
