Cop in P’sinan school shooting charged with grave misconduct
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines – The officer-in-charge of the National Police Commission of Pangasinan filed a case for grave misconduct on Thursday against a policeman who killed three teachers and a loan collector and wounded three other teachers at the Pangasinan National High School (PNHS).
Edwin Mapili told The STAR yesterday the case against Police Officer 3 Domino Alipio is undergoing pre-charge evaluation.
Four counts of murder and three counts of frustrated murder were filed by the Lingayen police against Alipio on Tuesday for allegedly shooting Florenda Flores, teacher at Labrador National High School; Acidello Sison and Linda Sison, both teachers at the PNHS; and Jonalito Urayan, a resident of Barangay Gabon in Calasiao town.
Three other PNHS teachers – Ferdinand Entimano, Jovito Jimenez and Juliet Molano – were wounded and confined in various hospitals here.
Authorities said Alipio reportedly shot the victims for failing to pay back the money he lent them.
