LAGUNA, Philippines – Three men, including two robbery suspects, were killed in alleged shootouts with policemen in separate incidents in Biñan City on Tuesday, a police official said yesterday.
Superintendent Noel Alino, city police chief, said Ruel Silvestrese and Russel Yandog died when they engaged policemen in a gunfight in Barangay Wawa at around 4:15 p.m.
He said policemen chased the suspects after robbing a businessman identified as Mark Zapata in Barangay San Vicente.
Alino said a suspected carjacker was also killed in another shootout with policemen along Halang road in Barangay San Francisco.
