Dapitan bettor wins P16-M lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines - A bettor from Dapitan City in Zamboanga del Norte won the jackpot in the 6/49 Super Lotto drawn on Aug. 17, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

The player picked the six-digit winning combination 34-49-21-42-39-37, which has a total jackpot of P16 million, said PCSO acting chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.

Aside from the lone jackpot winner at least 13 other players won P70,000 for picking five of the six-digit winning combination.

The player bought the ticket from a lotto outlet in Barangay Sta. Cruz.      

The 6/49 Super Lotto game is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
