MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-3.3 earthquake rattled parts of Antique yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the tremor struck at 8:31 a.m. Its epicenter was located five kilometers southeast of Culasi, where it was felt at Intensity 3.
Phivolcs describes an Intensity 3 quake as weak and is felt indoors, particularly in the upper floors of a building.
No damage or aftershocks were expected from the tremor.
The agency also recorded yesterday small quakes ranging from magnitude 2.5 to 3.2 in the towns of Manay, Governor Generoso and Sarangani in Davao Oriental, and Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
The tremors were unfelt.
