Ferry stops off Bohol, safely reaches destination

MANILA, Philippines — A passenger vessel carrying 178 people stopped in the middle of the sea after it slightly listed early Monday morning while en route to Cebu City.

The captain of the MV Super Shuttle RORO 3 operated by Super Shuttle Ferry Company was forced to stop the ship when he noticed that it was tilting. The ship was passing Siquijor and Balicasag Island when the incident happened.

After fixing the trouble, the captain reported the incident to the shore office.

The ferry was able to reach its destination and bring its 118 passengers and 60 crew members to safety within the same day. - Camille Diola
