MANILA, Philippines - The Sarangani governor’s office has clarified that a former board member indicted for failing to liquidate P340,000 in cash advances, is not connected with it.
Contrary to an earlier report, the accused, Hanafi Abdullatip Ibrahim, was a former executive assistant during the term of the previous governor, it said in an e-mailed letter to The STAR.
“Ibrahim had thus ceased to be connected with the Office of the Provincial Governor when the last term of the previous administration ended in 2013,” it said.
