Over P800,000 worth of shabu seized in Pangasinan
MANILA, Philippines - Authorities have arrested four members of a drug ring operating in Pangasinan during simultaneous raids, seizing over P800,000 worth of illegal drugs and assorted firearms.
Police said that last Apr.10, combined elements of the Philippine National Police in Region 1 and anti-narcotics agents nabbed Rolando Mabulay of Sitio Pokdol, Brgy Bani, Bayambang, Pangasinan; Jumar Mabulay, Veronica Mabulay, and Sonia Gamalong.
The five raiding teams were armed with six search warrants issued by Judge Renato Pinlac of San Carlos City Regional Trial Court Branch 57 against the members of the Mabulay drug ring.
Seized during the raids a 9mm Llama pistol, two Nokia cellphones,a sando bag and plastic cup containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing 128 grams with an estimated market value of P832,000., a plastic bag containing burnt small pieces of plastic sachet with alleged shabu residue and cash money amounting to P91,300 in different denominations believed to proceeds of illegal drug trade.
The four are now facing illegal drug charges before the court.
