MANILA, Philippines - A lone bettor from Makati City won the P250 million Grand Lotto 6/55 drawn on Monday night.
Philippine Charity Sweepstake Office (PCSO) general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas said the bettor placed his bet at the Pio del Pilar Street lotto outlet in Makati City.
Rojas said the bettor placed the winning combination of 39-21-42-28-05-27
There were also 25 winners of the P169,410 second prize and 2,700 winners of the P1,250 third prize.
Last April 1, a businessman from San Fernando, Pampanga won the P63 million Superlotto pot.
Rojas said the 32-year-old winner who placed the winning combination of 09-13-17-20-22-29 is married with two children.
According to Rojas, the winning bettor placed a P40 bet with the combination based on a dream. The winner has been playing the lotto for the past 13 years now.
Rojas said the winner said he plans to use his winnings to expand his trading business and will save some for his children.
