MANILA, Philippines — The camp of television host Vhong Navarro is expecting another rape complaint to be filed against him.
Lawyer Alma Mallonga claimed that the two rape complaints following that of model Deniece Cornejo's are possibly cooked up by businessman Cedric Lee, who is a respondent in the illegal detention case for the mauling of Navarro last January.
"Please watch out because malakas ang tunog sa amin na merong another complaint ... Iba na naman," she said in an interview with ABS-CBN's Umagang Kay Ganda on Monday.
Last April 2, a woman who worked as a double in a telenovela starring Navarro filed a rape complaint against the "It's Showtime" star before the Quezon City Prosecutor's office.
The 26-year-old complainant said the actor’s driver asked her to go inside the SUV because Navarro wanted to talk to her during a break in their taping. She claimed that the abuse occurred inside the vehicle.

Mallonga said that the alleged victim claimed the incident happened in 2009 while Navarro was shooting ABS-CBN's "I Love Betty La Fea."
She said Navarro is determined to face the legal battles to prove his innocence.
"Hindi naman masyado itong nakakaapekto katulad nung mga nauna because this is something he expected .. Hindi po kami magpapadala sa takot at lalaban po kami," Mallonga said.
Mallonga earlier claimed that she received a threat from Lee who allegedly asked Navarro's camp to drop the cases against him.
Lee, Cornejo and their companions are facing charges for serious physical injuries, grave threats, grave coercion, unlawful arrest, threatening to prevent publication in exchange for compensation filed by Navarro. - Camille Diola
