Napoles to be brought to OsMak this afternoon

MANILA, Philippines - Businesswoman Janet Napoles, the alleged brains behind the P10-billion pork barrel scam, was expected to be brought to to the Ospital ng Makati from her detention cell in a police camp in Laguna on Monday.

Napoles will be under heavy guard as she is escorted by the Philippine National Police Special Action Force to the hospital for the treatment for her uterian myoma.

A Makati City court earlier allowed Napoles to go under the knife to a government hospital instead of a private one.

Napoles is now detained at Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna for illegal detention charges filed by pork barrel scam whistleblower Benhur Luy.
