Cops hunt down 3 high-profile detainees in Zamboanga

ZAMBOANGA CITY - Police forces launched manhunt operations against three high-profile detainees who bolted from the provincial jail in Manukan town, Zamboanga del Norte on Thursday morning, police said.

Inspector Joseph Ortega, spokesperson ofthe Police Regional Office 9, identified the escaped detainees as Antonio Tuagi and Danford Duhaylungsod both charged for the crime of murder and Brian Nobresala charged for the crime of rape.

Ortega said the three inmates escaped from the Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Jail in Barangay Don Jose Aguirre, at around 10 a.m.

He said the escapees are residents of Sergio Osmeña. Rizal and Katipunan towns in Zamboanga del Norte, where government security forces have been alerted.
